Your outside lights are built to withstand the weather and outdoor and garden lighting will always carry an IP rating (ingress protection). This is designed to help you chose the best light for your needs. In the technical information part of each product you will find the IP rating and below is an easy guide to the rating. The first number indicates the Ingress Protection from solid objects, the second indicates the protection from moisture.
